BIZO Acceptable Use Policy
Customers of Business Online Services Limited (Bizo) must abide
by this Acceptable Usage Policy. Bizo reserves the right to
modify the Policy at any time, effective upon posting of the
modified Policy to this URL:
http://www.bizoservices.com/policy.html. Note that indirect,
attempted, or actual violations of this policy on behalf of, or
by, a Bizo customer or customer’s end-user shall be considered
violations of the policy.
This policy is incorporated by reference
into the Bizo Standard Terms. Any violation of the policy by a
customer, or customer end-user may result in termination of
Services.
Bizo reserves the right to cooperate with
appropriate legal authorities in investigations of claims of
illegal activity involving Bizo Services, Customers and other
Users. Bizo reserves all other rights to respond to violations
of this Policy to the extent of applicable law and in accordance
with any applicable contractual obligations.
Bizo may utilise technical means to monitor
communications into, and out of, its network facilities to
prevent the introduction of viruses or other hostile code, to
prevent intrusions and otherwise to enforce this Policy and each
Customer agrees that Bizo is authorised to monitor its
communications through Bizo’s network for such purposes.
Illegal use
Bizo Services may only be used for lawful
purposes. Transmission, distribution or storage of any material
in violation of any applicable law or regulation is prohibited.
This includes, without limitation, material protected by
copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual
property right used without proper authorisation, and material
that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or
violates export control laws.
System and network security
Violations of system or network security
are prohibited, and may result in criminal and civil liability.
Bizo will investigate incidents involving such violations and
may involve and will cooperate with law enforcement if a
criminal violation is suspected. Examples of system or network
security violations include, without limitation, the following:
Unauthorised access to or use of data,
systems or networks, including any attempt to probe, scan or
test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach
security or authentication measures without express
authorisation of the owner of the system or network.
Unauthorised monitoring of data or traffic
on any network or system without express authorisation of the
owner of the system or network.
Interference
with service to any user, host or network including, without
limitation, any deliberate attempts to overload a system and
broadcast attacks.
Forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any
part of the header information in an email or a newsgroup
posting.
Email
Sending unsolicited mail messages,
including, without limitation, commercial advertising and
informational announcements, is explicitly prohibited. A user
shall not use another site's mail server to relay mail without
the express permission of the site.
Usenet
Posting the same or similar message to one
or more newsgroups (excessive cross-posting or multiple-posting,
also known as "SPAM") is explicitly prohibited.
Disclaimer
While the purpose of this Policy is to
enhance the quality of the Bizo Services and to protect Bizo’s
customers, and the Internet community as a whole, from illegal,
irresponsible, or disruptive Internet activities, Bizo expressly
disclaims any obligation to monitor its Customers and other
Users with respect to violations of this Policy. Bizo has no
liability or responsibility for the actions of any of its
Customers or other Users or any content any User may post on any
Web site.
This Policy applies to each Bizo customer
and its employees, agents, contractors or other users who obtain
Services from Bizo.
Reporting Violations
Bizo encourages Users to report violations
of this policy by e-mail to
support@bizoservices.com including in any such report the
name of the offending domain (for example, xyz.com) and the type
of abuse (for example, spam, illegal acts, harassment, etc.)
